Mission and Vision
Our Vision
Since 2013, when Computational Thinkers was originally formed, we have had the same vision, which is so to see a world where students entering high school are equipped with the same, or better, computing skills as today's University freshmen, allowing society to advance its technical skills at a more rapid pace. We strive to have all of our students secure a solid understanding of core computing technologies so that they may use these skills to build an even brighter future for us all.
WE TRANSLATE THE UNIVERSITY TO THE ELEMENTARY
Our Mission
is to ensure that all students:
- Can understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including abstraction, logic, algorithms, data decomposition and data representation
- Can analyze problems in computational terms, and have repeated practical experience of writing computer programs in order to solve such problems
- Can evaluate and apply information technology, including new or unfamiliar technologies, analytically to solve problems
- Are responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology
